about
Happy Bandcamp Friday! :)
Here's a little song I wrote last month in some off-time. It's the simple story of breaking quarantine to hang out with a guy that made me feel less than myself. As the outside world opens up again and we start to get back to our social norms I feel it's important to not forget all the self love and mental work we put into ourselves during lockdown. As the song states, I don't want to name a name nor do I feel the need to as that's not the true point. The point is going back outside after a long winter, taking a walk on the waterfronts of Philly, and not letting everything I put in myself during quarantine go to waste because of anyone. (It goes without saying but “especially for some guy”. A true That’s So Raven ending). -Lamont :)
Thank you Alex Previty for mastering!

lyrics
you said “ill be your in between”
know acid eyes see almost anything
lucidity….
i’d want to film my dreams
when my brain don’t want to settle things
overnight i’d want to say that i tried
I’d want to stay away
i want to head east
don’t want to say your name ‘cause, migraines…
what it means to me that you ’tried’
don’t want say a name this time
i’d swerve, no lines
beautiful and almost sultry. perfect background music but also for putting on your headphones, closing your eyes, listening to the lyrics and pretty instruments, and just catching a vibeeeee. love this band. elizabexh
